Wed, 08 Sep 2010 15:12:03 +0000 en hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.0.1 Stone Arrogant Bastard http://blog.beerandcomics.com/2008/07/01/stone-arrogant-bastard/ http://blog.beerandcomics.com/2008/07/01/stone-arrogant-bastard/#comments Wed, 02 Jul 2008 00:53:02 +0000 Brian http://blog.beerandcomics.com/?p=181 So until now, I’ve tried to make it a point to only review beers I’ve never had.  This is apparently a problem, as I’ve had somewhere into the 1200 mark I think.  I’ve had a rough couple days the last few and I have a very loving mother, who likes to buy me beer.  Today, she purchased me an old standby, Stone’s Arrogant Bastard.  That said, I can’t in good conscience give it a great grade, because its not a great beer.  Is it highly drinkable, and enjoyable from time to time while also being reasonably priced?  Yes.  At roughly 4 dollars a deucer, its really pretty cheap, and still relatively high ac and high hop.  I give it a 6.  It is nothing spectacular, but it beats the hell out of normal beer, and german beer.  Expect a sweet nose, some roasted malt, and some decent hopping.
