David Petersen

Mouse Guard RPG CoverOkay, so I’m a HUGE Mouse Guard fan. Some of you may have noticed this already, but I figured it was worth mentioning for one reason.

David Petersen will be in Lansing today, at the Eastwood Schuller’s for their monthly comic discussion group. Its at 7:30pm and I will be there.

According to his blog, he’s going to be talking, and hopefully signing if time permits. This makes me so pumped I can’t even tell you. Awesome!

Also awesome is the above-linked image which also came from David’s blog. It is the cover for the forthcoming Mouse Guard RPG. It also makes an amazing desktop background (can you guess what’s the background on my laptop right now?)

Anyhow, if you end up at Schuller’s tonight, I’ll be the redhead guy with a beard and a Lieam figurine for David to sign.

  5. Yeah Ish, I don’t know exactly how the RPG is going to play. I’m personally more interested in the board game that’s in the works too.

  6. From what I read about the RPG, it looks like its going to be dice based. Luke Crane who did Burning Wheel is setting it up, and David Petersen has echoed that it will be more character based than stats based. So it looks like how you interact may be more imporant than how you fight. I’m pretty interested in checking it out. The board game will be sweet also, i’m sure.
