I tried this little guy on tap at Slow’s in Detroit the other night.  I will have to utter severe disappointment with this one.  When Ian and I read the beer list from Shorts, we were immediately in awe of this one, and without seeing the recipe, tried to replicate it.  I have to admit, as much as I felt nothing favorable about our attempt (the rainbow connection), this was worse.  Just nothing to make me enjoy it.  While having an eniticing red color, it also had very poorly defined malt profile, and some berries.  But not real flavor, just hints.
