Democratic Comic Geeks
Because some of us know Sandman so well, that we had just been waiting for this to show up…

This is not a statement of my political beliefs, I just found it via a certain author’s blog and felt moved to re-post it. It seems that some of us are simple enough to believe that there is actually a difference between good and evil. And those are the comic book readers.
God bless ‘em, every one.
Really though, with all this talk of super delegates, I’m much more in the mood for Super Candidates. Prove to me that you can fly, swing on a web, or just ACTUALLY SAVE THE WORLD, then I’ll vote for you.

Of course, that might end badly, but at least it will be fun to watch unfold. I mean, really, Superman was never as entertaining as he was when he became a communist dictator of the U.S.S.R. so I think that maybe this could spice up our political campaigns.
Short post, but a busy week. Next week something more substantial.

I assume you guys saw that Harper Collins released American Gods in glorious digital format. If you haven’t read it, you should, it’s outstanding.
The neat thing is, the reason they released it FOR FREE in digital format is because Mr. Gaiman had his blog followers vote on which book they would use to introduce readers to his works. American Gods won, practically no contest. So now you can read it for free.
It is by far my favorite of his works, but this opinion comes from a mythology geek. (shrug)
